有趣的 app (未必是荒誕的)

智慧型馬殺雞

單看名字會嚇死, 但按摩器這個玩意兒應該不是甚麼創新的東西; 其實有「震機」功能的手電也可能有~~~

Bad things about iTune Store

Everything has 2 sides:
  1. Update is broken (still!).
  2. Search is subpar.

So someone created the AppSniper -- it is intended for you to save your apps "wishlist" and alerts you once "the price is right".  Well, since it alerts also when your apps is updated, it is far more reliable than the Store apps on my device.

Go figure.

Good things about buy from Apps Store

Old news:
  1. There is one source.
  2. I can buy apps anywhere, anytime.
  3. Most updates are free, and more often than not, the updates enrich your apps, fix the bugs, etc.
  4. I don't have to worry about storing the media.

"$0.99 cannot go wrong"

Sorry no! If there is a fair amount of such apps you get burnt, it can cost more than a X-Plane.

RiSA Series #3: Nothing

This series pauses for quite a while, not because there is a shortage of ridiculous apps, there is just a shortage of time and energy. A lot of things happen around me to keep me occupied, really.

I want to state now, once and for all, that I would be "merciful" to some (rather board) genres of apps which should be here in the very beginning, just to avoid repeating myself:

1. Ebook of classic texts (do they know that Stanza is free?)

2. Offending apps == play back software of one or a few sound clips.

Time time, it is "Nothing".

According to the apps description:

"We proudly present an Application about Nothing. Nothing is everything you ever wanted in an application – except much, much less. We know there are so many great apps, but we wanted something different."

Humm, man, you don't get "something" less than nothing.  May be it is on humor, but I guess googling "Nothing Quote" for free may be more entertaining.

If you read on the link above, looks like the developer is very proud of him or herself.  Good for him / her.
